GWK CULTURAL PARK

Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park which is well known by “GWK” in Bali, it is one of the booming tourism destinations recently. GWK itself is the highest statue in Bali and the 3rd highest statue in the world after The Spring Temple Buddha in China and The LaykyunSekkya Buddha in Myanmar. GWK welcomes the visitors who visit Bali from the air.This statue is inaugurated by the President of Indonesia, Mr. Joko Widodo on September 22nd, 2018.

As a cultural park, this place is designed as a worldwide cultural park which has60-hectares area to be explored. A shuttle bus service is provided tohave a land tour all around the park. Not just for selfie, the visitors also served by attractive cultural performances

Starting from Kecak dance parade, Barong dance, Balinese dances and many more. Thoseperformances are begun to perform at 10.00 am.

Sun glasses and hat are needed when the visitors come at noon. Hence the best time to visit GWK is around a couple of hours before sunset time for closing the day before having dinner.It just needs 15-20 minutes to reach this spot form Ngurah Rai International airport that makes no one will skip to enjoy the beauty of GWK.
